Benjamin Dosgheas
Benjamin Dosgheas is a dedicated professor of Fashion Design, specializing in fashion accessories
and jewelry, at Duperré School in Paris. He also teaches in the ceramics section, where he serves as
co-head, inspiring students to explore the intricate relationship between materials and design. With
a deep commitment to craftsmanship, Benjamin Dosgheas is one of the material experts at the
Campus of Arts and Crafts, connecting all art and design schools in Paris.
A Franco-Portuguese native of Auvergne, Benjamin Dosgheas graduated from Olivier de Serre and
Duperré schools in Paris. With a Post-Master’s degree in Design and Craftsmanship, a Master’s
degree in Design and Fashion, and a Bachelor’s degree in Object Design, he possesses a profound
understanding of artisanal techniques.
His trajectory has led him to explore many fields and has nourished his interest in a transversal
approach to craft. Starting in fashion with leather goods design and craftsmanship for luxury brands,
he gravitated toward weaving and tapestry at the Mobilier National while deepening his interest in
wood and ceramic craft.
His work is showcased in various collaborative projects and is also represented in art and design
galleries, reflecting a strong presence in the contemporary art scene. Additionally, Benjamin
Dosgheas operates his own workshop in Paris, where he brings his creative visions to life.
Through his teaching and creative endeavors, Benjamin Dosgheas ignites a passion for design in the
next generation of artisans, encouraging them to embrace the beauty of handwork and the power of
materials in their artistic journeys. In 2025, he is excited to launch a ceramics magazine, aiming to
elevate the conversation around craftsmanship and its relevance in contemporary design.
