Practical information for participants
By Airplane
You will arrive at Lisbon’s only airport, Humberto Delgado.
Transportation from the Airport:
You can get to your destination in different ways, such as by bus, metro, taxi, and Uber.
Bus
After going through the arrivals gate at the exit of Terminal 1, you will find the Aerobus stop. This transport service provides frequent departures from the airport, ensuring connections between the city’s main points, the bus terminal in Sete Rios and the railroad in Entrecampos, Cais do Sodré and the two airport terminals.
Metro
The city of Lisbon has a good subway line. At the airport (Terminal 1), there is a station called “Aeroporto”; from there, you can reach various parts of the city. (Sometimes, it will be necessary to switch lines, depending on where you’re staying)
Taxi and Uber/Bolt
Both are available 24/7. You can find taxis at Terminal 1’s arrivals gate and call an Uber at the Terminal 1 exit.
