Roberto Liberti

Roberto Liberti is an Associate Professor in Industriall Design ICAR 13 , leading researches and teaching activities in fashion eco design, fashion-driven design and man’s tailoring sectors and in the Fashion Design Degree Course and in the Master Degree in Design for Innovation, curriculum Fashion Eco Design of the University of Study of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli. He is also developing researches in the field of fashion design for an environmentally sustainable industrial development.

His scientific training, gained in the national and international design environment is at the basis of his strategic planning skills in Design and Fashion Design, thanks to constant relationships with supranational research organizations (Iacocca Institute of Lehigh University – USA, Oxford Brookes University – England, Saint Petersburg University of Technology and Design – Russia, Nanjing University of Design – China,Tecnològico de Monterrey – Mexico, Goenka University – New Dheli India).

Experimentations and researches on new professional figures in the fashion oriented sector is the theme that links both his latest researches and his management and teaching activities; in particular, he is carrying out studies on new technologies in the field of service design, in the BIO TEXTILE sector, developing relationships with Italian and foreign industrial associations and universities amd researches on Men’s tailoring sector. In 2012 he founded the FA.RE Laboratory (Fashion Research Lab www.fare-lab.com ) of DADI department of the University Luigi Vanvitelli, which deals with creating international networks with researchers and companies in the fashion sector. For FA.RE he stipulated an important memorandum of understanding with the CNMI (National Chamber of Italian Fashion).
