The material supporting the presentation (slideshow) should be bilingual Portuguese/English. Papers submitted in Portuguese should be supplemented, in the final review process, with an English version. Papers submitted in English do not need to be submitted in another version.
Full papers
Full papers should be between 6 and 10 pages long (approximately 2500 to 4000 words, including figures, tables and references) and should be formatted according to the Conference template. These papers will be presented orally at the conference.
Review process
All submitted papers will be subject to a blind review process performed by at least two members of the Scientific Committee of Fashion Sustainability – Internacional Conference. The review criteria will be as follows:
- Novelty
- Level of contribution
- Validity of the conclusions
- Relevance to the theme of the event
- Theoretical and methodological relevance and originality
The final paper and its English version should be submitted. If the original article is already in English, it is not necessary to submit the article in another language. It will also be necessary to send a form concerning copyright transfer and a brief bio of each author in Portuguese and English. This Bio should identify the author who will make the presentation at the Conference.
For each registered participant, a maximum of two papers can be included in the Conference. Participants can be co-authors of other papers.
The proposals must be submitted according to the paper template.
Oral presentation
The Conference does not provide for translation of the oral communications to be presented.
Each author may present up to 2 paper proposals.
The paper presentation implies registration by the author, has a maximum duration of 10 minutes, including time for questions, and must be done by one author only.
The paper support (PPT, PDF, etc.) must be in English and in the format proposed in the Conference Presentation Template. The oral presentation can be made in Portuguese or English.
Presentations can be in person or by videoconference.
